2026 Skiing and Snowboarding

Ski or snowboard for 6 Thursdays at the Dartmouth Skiway starting January 15th! Beginners through advanced are all welcome! At the end of 6 weeks of fun and improving skills, we’ll end the season with the annual Bunny Hill Ski Race with prizes for top competitors and hot chocolate and goodies for all!

Experience: Please refer to the ability chart to determine your child’s experience.

- All Skiers/Riders will be supervised at ALL times.

- Beginner Skiers must be able to get dressed, get boots/skis/boards on and be able to ride the magic carpet independently. (We can help coach getting down the hill)

- Kindergarten participants must have a parent/guardian present at the Skiway each week.

Equipment:

- YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT. Rentals MUST be arranged prior to the first day of the program. Rentals are available from various locations in the upper valley, including the Dartmouth Skiway.

- HELMETS ARE REQUIRED and can be rented.

- SNOW PANTS AND JACKETS ARE REQUIRED

-Long socks, neck warmers and goggles are recommended.

- Please dress your child in layers and send extra clothing - MITTENS, socks, etc. so your child stays warm. If you child is not dressed properly, they will not be able to attend.

- Please label all equipment with NAME and SCHOOL. If equipment is lost we can identify it and easily return it to the appropriate location at the end of the day.

- Skis/Poles/Snowboards must be left at the main entrance of your school on Thursday mornings by 8 am.

- A designated equipment transporter will deliver the equipment to the Skiway as well as return it to SME at the end of the day.

Travel:

Dismissal for skiing will be around 12:00 with busing transportation from WES and SME to the Dartmouth Ski-Way. Ski pick up can be done at the Ski-Way or either elementary school around 4:00 to 4:30pm.
